Post-college, he was driven to give back to the sport that had opened many doors for him. His comprehensive understanding of the vital importance of training, nutrition, and preparation in sports inspired him to aid others in mastering these aspects.
Zach Duprey graduated from Elon in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Event Management, minoring in Exercise Sports Science—a subject that had fascinated him since his teenage years. His academic and athletic experiences culminated in his first major professional role as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Football at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he applied his knowledge to help athletes excel.
Career Shift Into Sales
In 2019, Zachary transitioned to a new career in sales, moving to Indiana to start as an Onsite Specialist. His background in coaching was a significant asset in this role, enabling him to effectively forge connections and educate healthcare professionals on advanced technological solutions for patient care. His adeptness in this position quickly promoted him to Regional Associate Sales Representative. In this capacity, he was tasked with servicing equipment, aiding clinical end-users, and developing a central regional database to streamline the distribution of information to sales representatives across several Midwestern states.
Zach's career continued as he assumed the Sales Design and Consultant role, helping customers plan and renovate key healthcare spaces such as operating rooms and Cath Labs. This role significantly broadened his perspective and deepened his involvement in supporting Indiana’s medical facilities.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of his professional endeavors, Duprey enjoys engaging with nature and playing golf whenever possible. He is also a skilled cook, particularly in smoking and curing meats. His passion for sports remains strong, evidenced by his continued support for the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and the PGA Tour.
